2024 SUMMER CAMP

All camps run Monday - Friday from 9 am to 4 pm with a performance on Friday open to friends and family. Camps are $225 per week. Each additional camper in the immediate family is $200 per week.

Broadway Classics Reimagined camp will be based on building confidence in performing and working well with others. This camp will be "Golden Age" themed. Essentially, the kids will perform a "Junior-Junior" version of a Golden Age musical. The day will be broken down into acting, dance, music, and staging skills, along with a technical component. They will be learning the basic skills of ensemble work, auditioning, memorization, and technical design/techniques. The musical will essentially be cut and have a performance at the end of the week. At 4 p.m. Broadway Classics Reimagined Director: Kiera Whittemore

"Kiera Whittemore is a graduate of the BFA Musical Theatre program at Catawba College, community theatre performer, and just finished her time as a first-year teacher! Some of her performance roles include Patsy Cline in "Always...Patsy Cline", Audrey in "Little Shop of Horrors", Emma Borden in "Lizzie Borden Took an Axe", Jan in "Grease", and a featured soloist in "Side by Side by Sondheim". She has (so far) directed two educational theatre shows, "The Lion King Jr." and "Seussical Jr." She has had experience with children for 10+ years and has done many summer camps. She is currently studying at Winthrop University to receive her Masters degree in Arts Administration. Her future goal is to open her own theatre and/or start an educational theatre space! She hopes to see your amazing children this summer at OCT! "
